Mark A. Pruitt | Founder & Inventor
Mark Pruitt is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and seasoned aerospace structural design lead with over four decades of direct experience across major defense, space, and commercial flight programs. His career spans critical technical leadership roles at major aerospace primes, including The Boeing Company, Lockheed Space Operations, Martin Marietta, and General Electric Re-Entry Systems.
Beginning his career at General Electric Re-Entry Systems in composite materials and robotics, Mark developed foundational expertise in extreme thermal environments. He went on to support Space Shuttle ground processing systems at Vandenberg AFB with Lockheed and Planning Research Corporation, lead structural design for the Vertical Launch System (VLS) at Martin Marietta, and execute advanced launch vehicle processing concepts for the Advanced Launch System (ALS) at Boeing.
Throughout his career at Boeing, Mark served as Structural Design Lead on flagship programs—including factory support for the 787 Dreamliner, composite structural repairs on the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor, leading-edge design for the 767, and structural engineering for the CH-47 Chinook and AH-64D Apache. Drawing on this deep cross-disciplinary knowledge of composite aerostructures, fluid loops, and space vehicle systems, Mark invented and secured the patent to solve the industry’s ultimate challenge: routine, zero-maintenance spacecraft reentry.

FOUNDER'S VISION & INVESTOR COMMITMENT
Decades of working on reusable spacecraft and advanced aerostructures proved one thing: passive heat shields are the single greatest bottleneck in space transportation. We don’t need heavier tiles or sacrificial ablatives; we need an entirely new category
of heat shielding. Our patent defines that category. It provides the exact mechanism to make Earth-to-LEO return routine, scalable, and economically viable.
